Mudrun is a specialised dredging barge designed for precise and efficient execution of dredging and drilling work in demanding marine environments.
The vessel combines a powerful Hitachi ZX490 excavator, which can be used with both short and long booms as well as various buckets, and a fixed Sandvik drilling tower at the bow. This unique combination makes Mudrun the ideal choice for projects requiring both mass removal and drilling, such as deepening harbours and fairways, foundation work for quays and breakwaters, or preparation for maritime constructions.
With a length of 26.5 metres and a width of 8 metres, as well as a tonnage of 97 tonnes, Mudrun has the capacity to handle large tasks, while the two support legs ensure stability during all work operations.
To ensure high precision and optimal control, the barge is equipped with GPS positioning through the PDS 2000 system. This provides accurate execution and detailed documentation in all phases of the projects, contributing to effective mass handling, controlled drilling and dredging, and minimal risk of deviations. Communication is managed via VHF, and necessary rescue equipment is always on board to ensure safe working conditions.
Mudrun is designed to meet the stringent requirements of modern underwater projects, whether it concerns dredging, drilling for foundations, or preparation for pipe and cable laying. The platform offers both flexibility and stability in challenging sea conditions, and the combination of advanced positioning technology and a robust machine park ensures a safe and high-quality completion of marine tasks.
With Mudrun, you get a comprehensive solution for demanding projects where precision, safety and efficiency are essential.
