Otta bridge sustained damage due to the build-up of ice. The ice had moved the bridge off the western foundation and damaged the foundation. The marine contractor was a subcontractor to Øst-Riv and was tasked with preparing the construction pit for casting, as well as assisting in underwater casting of the foundation where the new bearings for Otta bridge were to be mounted.
Diving and underwater work
The project involved underwater work in collaboration with Øst-Riv. We assisted with solutions for formwork and reinforcement cages underwater, as well as carried out diving work related to the preparation for concreting bridge foundations
