About the project

Marine and underwater work for bridge foundations for the Åstfjord Bridge, client Statens Vegvesen.

Excavation of construction pit for two caissons approximately 7000m3. Underwater casting, levelling, foundations and underpours of the caissons, a total of approximately 1000m3. Assembly/sinking of two caissons with a diameter of 18.4 metres and a height of 16 metres. Backfilling, ballast filling, as well as erosion protection.
