Vardø harbour was to deepen the area inside the western breakwater down to -3.0 metres LAT. A commercial area/quay with a height of 3.7 metres was also to be established. In this connection, a quay with a paved waterfront was to be built.
The construction of the quay and the placement of dredged material were included in the marine contractor's tasks.
A total of approximately 5,000 tfm3 was blasted and dredged
The contract form was a turnkey contract.
