Reipå Harbour in Meløy is being developed for the future fishing industry. Over an area of 4650 m2, we dredged 5800m3 of material to level -4 LAT. The material was used as infill in a basin that became a parking lot for the fishing harbour. We used a silt curtain in this project to prevent the spread of material. This was a challenge as parts of the fishing harbour were in use during the construction period. Good communication with the client and the fishermen in the harbour ensured that this went very well.
