About the project

Harstad Havn KF was to upgrade its port facility at the Rødskjær industrial area.

The marine contractor was engaged by Vinter Entreprenør to carry out blasting, dredging and diving work. A total of approximately 6000m3 of loose material and rock was dredged. For securing cuttings, contour blasting was carried out in front of the quay line; the remaining blasting for deepening amounted to about 300fm3
