Construction of quay facilities – from groundwork to finished structure

Examples of successful quay projects

We have completed a number of reference projects across the country. One of our largest and most complex projects is the collaboration with NCC on Ren Havn in Hammerfest. Here, we carried out the demolition of old navigation marks, construction of a new quay, and installation of new navigation marks in accordance with current safety requirements. The project included extensive environmental dredging and cleanup of contaminated seabed, as well as deepening of the approach to facilitate increased ship traffic. Ren Havn in Hammerfest is an example of how Sjøentreprenøren combines technical expertise with environmentally friendly solutions and high implementation capability.

Among our other projects are Lavik Ferry Quay, Florø Oil Terminal, Kristiansund Quay, Sløvåg Quay, and Storstein Ferry Quay. These projects demonstrate the breadth of our services and the ability to adapt to various customer needs and local conditions.
